Speaker profile: Sanhua Leng was born in Xiaogan, Hubei. He graduated with MB in Chinese medicine from Hubei University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, MS in Integrated Medicine from Tongji Medical College of Huazhong University of Science & Technology, and DPT from Dominican College respectively. He is also a Certified Mulligan Practitioner. He has been doing clinical and research works in integrated Chinese and Western Medicine field for over twenty years. He has published 4 articles in SCI accepted journals, and one article got Excellent Paper Honor Reward by the China Association for Science and Technology. One of his participated research projects received Science and Technology Progress Award from Wuhan Government. In recent years he projected to explain functional phenomena of meridian in the view of C nerve network, and to select and pairing acupoints in tissues that distributed with sensitized C nerve. He explained the body position in acupoints determination with pain gate theory, established differential palpation techniques for five different tissues, and integrated them into Counter Stimulation Therapy for manual and acupuncture therapy. The value of Counter Stimulation Therapy is recognized.
