Yong Ming Li, MD, PhD, L.Ac
Personal profile: Dr. Yong Ming Li is a board-certified pathologist, dermatopathologist, and also acupuncturist practicing in New Jersey. He had a BM from Liaoning College of TCM in China and PhD from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in the USA. After several years’ medical research, Dr. Li completed his residency at North Shore University Hospital and fellowship at Ackerman Academy-Columbia University. He is the President of American Traditional Chinese Medicine Society (ATCMS). Dr. Li has published extensively in journals like Nature Medicine, PNAS, NEJM, JAMA, and Caner Research, and received 4 issued US patents. For over ten years, Dr. Li served as Study Section Member to review grants at NCCIH-NIH. Dr. Li received NIH Merit Award in 2011 and first “Tiansheng Bronze Statute” Award from WFAS in 2017.
